Marie van Dalfsen, Principal of John Maclure Community School presents a check in the amount of $673.86 to assist in the construction of a school in Afghanistan. Funds were raised by Maclure students.
These funds will be matched by the Rotary Club of Abbotsford-Matsqui, and matched again by Rotary International and CIDA, which effectively multiplies the students efforts four times.
